DAY 1 LYON

Passengers are welcome to board the ship in Lyon at 6:00 p.m. After comfortably settling into your cabins, enjoy a welcome cocktail with the crew before dinner. Onboard entertainment will continue in the lounge. We'll remain in port overnight.

DAY 2 LYON - MACON

Excursions proposed:
CLASSIC: Join us for a guided tour of Lyon. You will discover the second largest city in France, situated at the confluence of the Rhône and the Saône. 
DISCOVERY as a supplement: Discover all of Lyon's touristic highlights in only 2.5 hours and with little effort! Enjoy a leisurely bike ride around the lake in the Parc de la Tête d'Or and on the banks of the Rhône River. Don't miss the tasting of local products and delicacies in the heart of Vieux Lyon! 
We’ll return on board and spend the afternoon cruising. Enjoy dinner and an evening of dancing and onboard entertainment. We’ll reach Mâcon in the evening and remain in port overnight.

DAY 3 MACON - VIENNE

Excursions proposed:
CLASSIC: Set off by coach for our excursion to visit the abbey ruins in Cluny. 
DISCOVERY as a supplement: Your guide will lead you through the streets of Macon on foot to discover the rich heritage of this fascinating city. During your tour, you'll be able to taste many of the local products. You'll have some free time to explore on your own before heading back to the ship. 
We’ll return on board and spend the afternoon cruising. Enjoy an evening of onboard entertainment. We'll remain in port overnight.

DAY 4 VIENNE - ARLES

Excursions proposed:
CLASSIC: Visit of Vienne. Once the capital of a Roman province, Roman vestiges are still visible in modern Vienne. 
DISCOVERY as a supplement: Explore Vienne on a Segway! After familiarizing yourself with your Segway, you'll set off on an original tour of this charming “Gallo-Roman” city known for its art and history. 
We’ll return on board and spend the afternoon cruising. Enjoy dinner and an evening of entertainment as we cruise through the night.

DAY 5 ARLES - The Camargue

Excursion for both packages: Visit of Arles. You discover this cultural center and its Roman ruins, and then travel inland to find out about olive oil production in Provence. 
Afternoon excursions proposed:
CLASSIC: Join us for an excursion to the Camargue - an immense exceptional plain where the sea, wetlands and pools are inhabited by an extraordinary variety of water fowl. 
DISCOVERY as a supplement: Safari in the Camargue. Far from the tourist traps, discover the Petite and Grande Camargue from the back of a jeep with local guides who will share their enthusiasm for this legendary area. You'll cross the Parc Naturel Régional de Camargue.
We'll return on board for dinner and an evening of traditional Provençal entertainment. We'll remain in port overnight.

DAY 6 ARLES - AVIGNON - VIVIERS

Excursions proposed:
CLASSIC: Guided tour of Avignon and the Papal Palace, one of the largest and most important medieval Gothic buildings in Europe. 
DISCOVERY as a supplement: You'll leave by coach for the Pont du Gard, a true masterpiece of ancient architecture. We'll hike along the aqueduct trail, a 2-mile walk through the site with numerous viewing points. At the end of our trek, we'll visit the museum.
We’ll return on board and spend the afternoon cruising. After dinner, we set off on a visit of Viviers. We'll remain in port overnight.

DAY 7 VIVIERS - TOURNON - LYON

The morning will be spent cruising. Once we arrive in Tournon, excursion for both packages: A guided tour of the city. We'll visit the imposing Castle-Museum of Tournon-sur-Rhône, one of the finest castles in the Ardèche region. We’ll then return on board. Tonight is our gala evening. Our boat will cruise towards Lyon during the night.

DAY 8 LYON

Enjoy breakfast before disembarking.
