As a former stamp collector and history buff there was no way I could resist Marc’s charming shop around the corner from my apartment, on the Boulevard Beaumarchais. It is crammed with antique post cards, advertising posters, photographs and glorious images of the Belle Epoque.

One or certainly I could spend an entire day browsing and talking with Marc about the origins and stories surrounding his acquisitions.

Our recent afternoon spent at Les Images de Marc (appointment arranged by Terrance), was delightful.  Upon entering the shop, nothing prepared me for the breadth and scope of his collections.  Whether you are looking for vintage postcards, advertising posters or photographs, Marc will patiently guide and assist.  For all things Belle Epoque and Mucha, or esoteric requests such as mine (admittedly postcards featuring monkeys or dachshunds), Marc offers an extraordinary selection.  With the table piled high with albums, Marc was still able to produce even more.  Time seemed to be the only limitation that day.  There is something for everyone, in all price ranges.  So much fun, so interesting.  Vintage Parisian menus are targeted for the next visit!–Bobbi from Boston

Founded in 1981 in Les Halles the shop was moved to 69 Blvd. Beaumarchais in 1981, but prior to that the “biz” was launched when Marc purchased this post card of Berry in 1974  for the equivalent of 2 euros-it can be yours for just 200 euros.

If you are looking for that perfect Paris poster for your home you have come to right place here two of an extensive selection.
